Day 13 - Walk 2

Today was another amazing walk. 

A little longer , a little higher , a little tougher !!!

We ascended from 1370m to 2285m.

The walked started with a steep climb up to start.

First stop.

Then the track became narrower and chains were involved !!

We stopped for lunch at a refuge (mountain cafe ) that had the most amazing view. 

Unfortunately most of the refuges are closed as its the end of the summer walking season.

The deck is still a great place to eat a picnic lunch.

A hot thermos is a very popular addition to mountain supplies.

So I just had to have one !!
